290429_2473088753192_2119728091_oI am a sunshine craved, health crazed, reading & writing obsessed, tech lovin’, business driven, outdoor active, hustle addicted action-taking life junkie.

I live for the hustle. I am one of those guys that is always on – always thinking, always creating, always working on the next thing for me – always wanting something more – something better.

“I refuse to be average. I refuse to be “the norm”. I refuse to take the road well traveled. I refuse to let the world dictate what I can/can’t do, what I should do, and what is right to do. I refuse to live by others rules. I refuse to be anything else but me.”

I am a very simple person. I believe we live in a transparent world and the only people that don’t like everyone being in all your business are the people who have something to hit. I am who I am and I am down proud of that. Here is a little more about me.

1498041_10202922738296077_1339989981_oI live in San Diego and don’t ever plan to leave. There is a reason it is called America’s Finest City. I am married to the world’s great woman who literally has changed my life, saved my life, and made me who I am today. She does more for me than she will ever know and is the main reason I am not locked up in a mental institution right now. In August of 2014, we welcomed our first baby boy into the world. Mason Lee also changed my life, in a way different way than my wife did. Fatherhood is the best thing I have ever done, outside marrying my wife.

A majority of my day is spent in the world of health management. I currently am working for a leading health technology company with responsibility of getting new business of our wellness and engagement platform into hospitals and health systems. I am one of those freaks that absolutely LOVES what I do and wakes up every single morning excited to go to work. I get antsy on 3-day weekends because that is too much time away from work (not kidding – ask my wife). I have a B.S. in Kinesiology, an M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotions, and a PhD in Living The Good Life.

In my ever-shrinking spare time, I run a small web business helping small businesses and independent business owners take to the world wide web and establish a presences that works for them and allows them to be competitive. From design to social media management to app development, if it is something that interested me, I will take on the project. I also have a few personal projects I spend nights and weekends dedicated to getting up and off the ground and I am always looking for some sort of side hustle to put a few dollars in my pocket.

But don’t think I spend all my time hustlin’. All work and no play makes Zach’s life very boring…

385240_10200472973173480_596943957_nI love being outdoors, which is very easy to do in San Diego. Living across the street from a regional parks means I am usually on a hiking trail basking under the sun. I love taking walks, whether in the mountains of beaches. I love eating and drinking beer – usually at the same time. I am a sucker for a good hamburger and an IPA. Golfing is an addiction that I have no plans on getting rid of. The sun, the suds, the grass and the company. I have an obsession with taking pictures, although I admit I have no idea what I am doing. I enjoy a good cigar and a better whiskey on occasion. I love traveling, whether that is getting away for a weekend of spending 18 days in Australia. And on the most beautiful of days, a pool, a lounge chair, feet up and a Sailor Jerry and coke in the hand is where you can usually find me.

I try to live my life by 3 matras:

1) Anything worth doing is worth doing 100%. Go hard or don’t go.

2) “I’d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not”~Kurt Cobain. Be yourself whether people like you or not. The people who like become closer, and you don’t need the people who don’t.

3) “Love your family. Work superhard. Live your passion” – Gary Vaynerchuk. Enough said. Your family is most important. You have to hustle. You have to do what you love.

Other than that – I am an open book. I would love to connect on whatever social media you are about and if you are interested in collaborating on a project or have an opportunity you think I may be interested in, I am all ears all the time. Drop me a line and let’s discuss.
